Show IH: MeetingResponse - Track and get rid of ineffective meetings

Hi fellow indie hackers!

After a few false starts, I just launched my first SaaS, https://meetingresponse.com. MeetingResponse is an Meeting Analytics Platform. You forward meeting invites to "track@meetingresponse.com" and the platform will automatically track meetings and send out requests for feedback from all of the recipients immediately after the meeting has concluded. Afterwards, I collect all of your data and give you actionable insight on all of the meetings you or your organization have.

It's so MVP that I haven't even built out how to pay me yet. Everyone gets 14 free trial days, so for any sign ups, I'll have a way for them to pay me within 14 days. Anyone using it make sure to message me, I'll mark your account for some sort of discount!

About the stack:

  • Ruby on Rails w/ some vanilla Js
  • Postgres for DB
  • Stripe for payments (eventually)
  • Hosted on Heroku
  • Mailgun for transactional emails

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hi there 🙌 I checked the page and have some feedback.

If you didn't told me this bit here in the post

You forward meeting invites to "track@meetingresponse.com" and the platform will automatically track meetings and send out requests for feedback from all of the recipients immediately after the meeting has concluded.

it would take me quite some time to get that from the homepage/demos. Track and get rid of ineffective meetings does not tell me much, but if subtitle would explain it that would be much better however it goes with ...your next meeting invite and sit back–we'll take care of the rest - take care, in which way?

Demo is confusing to me, in terms of that in the paid product all I see is that dashboard or I can click into items to see the details or...? Also - ROI is a bit confusing to me - that's supposed to be aggregate rating? Why then ROI and not Rating, I guess you are trying to convey "value of the meeting" although that's quite a bit out there for me to find out.

When I click Track meeting I get this - I completely do not know what this is and what should I do with it - just press Send? Maybe, but I would like to know what is the next action, what I am doing right now etc. And I should include some Meeting invite - what is that?

Hope this will be at least somehow useful to you :)

Thanks for the reply on this. I went ahead and got rid of the confusing "Track Meeting" CTA as well as re did the entire landing page.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, messaging is forever a work in progress. I like the comment you made about whether or not this works.

As for sample feedback and reports - Yes, I have all of those in various stages of development. To get this thing out now, and avoid feature creep, I cut all of those things and shipped it as is – bare bones and all.
