What's the worst part of selling on the phone?

Hey everyone! When I first started selling over the phone early in my career I used to hate sales, was scared of rejection and was nervous about picking up the phone and calling someone cold. Anyone else in that boat now?

I'm no guru but I have learnt a few things over the years. Using the phone, for me, has been the fastest way to make a one on one connection. Has anyone had good results or particular struggles with phone sales?

I'm curious where others are at and am happy to share whatever tips I can to help.
