Before moving to Germany, I was working for Zenkit (https://zenkit.com/) remotely back home in Australia. We used Zenkit (of course), Skype, and email.

I work in a remote team, we wanted to feel like we were in an office together, even though we are spread out around the world.

    So we built https://sneek.io

We also use slack, Trello, BitBucket, and Xero for Payroll, holiday booking etc

    Communication: Email
    Code related everything: Gitlab
Task Management: Code related Gitlab, features/changes Trello
Accounting: Xero and salaries I just manually process the transfers at the moment though trello will output a file I can upload to my bank

Mostly e-mail and the telephone. Occasionally, someone sets up a meeting in Teams, though I think everyone hates it at this point.

    Here at Featurist[0] we use:

    • discord
    • github
    • zoom (a bit reluctantly - it seems to have the best quality but horrible UI)
    • google docs/calendar

recently we've been dabbling with Basecamp but I don't think that is going to stick.

    and of course Shipping Report[1]
