Not only are they amazing at SEM I'd say they help shape the industry itself. They have an impressive range of content for several different personas even going as far as resume templates and excel spreadsheets which will probably not generate sales directly in the short time but might be relevant for brand awareness, product discovery and even SEO.

God... it totally makes sense that the SEO companies REALLY get content marketing!
Neil Patel blog has a terrible UX, it brings up a popup to subscribe to notifications at the top left corner. When I go to shut it, it brings another popup that asks me to subscribe to email list and I have to shut that as well.
You might feel that way but the team behind that blog are militant at testing so you can be pretty confident that it's what is currently delivering for them on the metrics they care about.
