I've put this project on hold more than once. I've thought about selling it plenty of times without receiving in serious offers. I finally decided to just kick it over the edge and put some finishing touches on it. So, here it is. I officially launched Adcaster today!
Adcaster is a platform that allows Podcasters to set up an "Upcoming Episodes" landing page and easily sell sponsorships, in a self-serve manner, for those episodes.
Check it out at https://adcaster.co.
Congrats finally launching it! I have a similar problem of
not yet launching my product myself.
From the landing page, it is quite difficult to understand what value it would bring, would be nice to see a demo of a page.
Line-through on Coming soon, what does that mean - already implemented or not going to be coming soon.
Good luck!
A lot of podcasters run their content as a distribution channel for their own product/services (i.e. it's just another way for people to drive traffic to whatever their selling). Sure, there are the big podcasts where the business model is to sell sponsorships, but is that the norm? I'm interested in following the life of this project. I used to run a podcast in a small fitness niche.
hey, parker,
Congratulations! I suggest adding a nice big "Get started" CTA button in hero section.
Parker,
Love the idea. My team and I were struggling to find podcast placements recently. We just started advertising on podcasts. Have you found any podcasts interested in working with you?
