#daily-update: It's Monday, so I'm going to spend a couple hours strategizing and planning my week. I'm interviewing Evan You of Vue.js on the IH podcast tomorrow, so I'll be prepping for that today. I've also let my inbox pile up for weeks now, so it's well past time to cull it down to zero.
If I'm lucky I'll have time to write some code today.
Curious on how they'll onboard plugins - e.g. Angular and AngularFire2; would really like support on plugins like vue-awesome-swiper; It's given me and clients so much grief.
I seriously want a simple way to compile a .vue file to a .js file. Vue is my favorite frontend library, but it killed me not being able to just build a single component on its own!
Totally understand Courtland not asking tech questions though haha
Not sure I'll ask a ton of tech/roadmap questions, unfortunately. Planning to mostly ask about starting a business in open source, dealing with well-funded competitors, learning to code, etc.
Here
iswas a super easy feature to get the coding going: implement markdown's strike tag feature for the forum!Usually it's
~~text~~-><strike>text</strike>.or in github's case,
~~text~~-><del>text</del>.That should work today! It puts the
~~text~~in an<s>text</s>tag, which should render with a strikethrough.Can't wait for the next podcast!
Yessss for the inbox cleanup 😬😇
