Hi all!
I'm finally scratching an itch that has bothered me for years: https://copybranch.com/
In my day job, I'm a founding member of a VC funded startup - in charge of frontend & design. So I'm constantly designing and building out new landing pages.
Something I see people do wrong is get too excited about design when it comes to building landing pages (I've done this before!). I believe the crucial first step before design is to actually write copy. I call it copy-centric design.
You should design landing pages around content, not the other way around. There's a big issue though...
Design shouldn't influence your copy, but layout will.
Copy is highly influenced by the context in which its displayed. Its important to know whether you're writing a full width header, a grid of key points or a text-image section.
Therefore, writing copy in normal text editors feels wrong and people skip straight to Figma/Sketch and lorem ipsum hell. So, I created Copybranch: a text editor made specifically for writing copy, while building out layout and being able to iterate on every line.

I've started building Copybranch at night during the week and am having a lot of fun. This is going to be very useful, if for one else, at least for myself :)
