About Indie Hackers

I'm new to IndieHackers, literally just 5 days old. But I found the community is pretty engaging so far, people here are active, supportive, and helpful.

Here are a few great things that I observed:

  1. Smooth workflow: I noticed that I know what actions waiting for me, and what limitations I have. This experience in design puts the user first for sure.
  2. Communication in plain language: I like the founder's email, it's short and in plain text, very clear and feels like an old friend.
  3. Founder friendly: A few components are designed well, for example, it knows most users here probably have their own projects, the "add product" part is great to have, and it gives you a timeline of templates for product posts, very neat.

Overall, I'm impressed by the community on how it's nicely crafted for a great user experience, well done! Definitely a good example we should learn to build a community.

One thing that I'm not very sure about is the group, sounds like to me it's just a tag or topic, you only can move a post into one group, I think it makes more sense if you can tag multiple groups.
