An honest correction turned into a homepage quote!

Last week, someone here looked at one of my sites and caught something I’d missed: the plan prices weren’t showing in the page HTML before JavaScript ran.

We fixed it and checked the live page.

He’d also gotten one of our prices wrong in his feedback. I corrected that, but it didn’t cancel out the useful thing he found. I told him, “You caught a real gap we missed.”

He later asked if he could put that line on his site, with my name and a link to our discussion. I said yes.

Over the weekend, I opened his homepage. There it was, right below the main section, with the pricing correction alongside it like he’d promised.

I’m building BubbaCode on my own, and lately I’ve been wondering how much these founder conversations help me reach the small-business owners the apps are for. That question is still open.

But this exchange was useful in its own right. My site got a real fix. He got an honest quote about his work. Neither of us had to pretend the original feedback was perfect.

I don’t know whether that mention will send anyone my way. I’m glad we had the conversation either way.
