Any WIP or Makerlog members here?

What benefits are you getting from these communities?
I find Makerlog is great for motivating me and "gamifying" your task list. I think it could also work as a public changelog.
Are you actually more productive, or you feel you're more productive?
Good question. I think I'm more productive because the gamify effect motivates me to set small, achievable tasks at the start of the day and then do them. Sadly a lawsuit related to being hit by a car limits what I can share so I'm unable to use Makerlog but I'm dying to get back to it.

Yes, just joined Makerlog - I can see that the public commitment of what I'm working on today is helpful and it's part of thinking about my goals for the day. Haven't been involved as much yet in discussions but if they're anything like Indie Hackers then should be helpful!
