Anybody Learning to Code?
Hello! I am new to the community.
I help businesses grow using digital marketing strategies like search engine marketing :)
Learning how to code has helped immensely with my work.
I started off by learning javascript. There were many, many nights of me tearing my hair out! It's a challenging language for sure. But the high I got from completing my first project was out of this world.
Now, I am learning R. It's a statistical programming language and it's going to help me make better marketing decisions. Just becoming a beginner at it has helped me grow so much!
Once I get a handle on R, I'm going to move onto Python. Everyone says it will blow my mind.
What about you? How has coding changed your life?
Not sure why they say so. It's a normal language, with a pretty gentle start slope.
What I would advise you is to understand clearly why you are learning programming languages. What is your goal?
My programming goals right now:
A) Reduce time spent on manual, repetitive tasks
B) Track and analyze data better

My goal is to make money from my knowledge and experience :)) (not really a programming goal though :)))
Learn one language and ace it. That's one piece of advice I got. Push it to the limits. That's the beauty of programming.
