Anyone use Laravel for their startup?

Wanted to dive into Laravel and wondering if it's worth it.Anyone?

Lots of people. It's one of the single most popular frameworks around these days, both for quick releases (because it has a lot of standards built in, even Billing) and larger/enterprise software (because it brings additions to PHP that make it more structured and better to write in).

Definitely yes, and I love it!! I've been using Laravel for about 3 years now and in that time I managed to build 2 SaaS applications that are https://ruggedtasks.com and https://ruggedprojects.com.

I have used Laravel to build out my ideas and I continue using it. Also you can see here products/projects that are built with Laravel for inspiration - https://laravelmade.com

I have used Laravel to completely rewrite a green IoT backend (used to be plain PHP). Imho Laravel is great because it brings powerful tooling and framework functionality at moderate complexity. However, I strongly recommend to bring someone with good software engineering skills into the project from the start. Key concepts of Laravel (like MVC, the persistence layer, built in unit/integration test capabilities,... )require some craftsmanship to use them efficiently.

I come from a Django background.Django is good for a getting an app started in very short time.I wanted to widen my knowledge, have more stacks behind me.

I know all the hate php gets but imo "there are two types of programming languages:those that gets talked about and those which which nobody gives a fuck about"-said by some famous guy, really is true.So I dived into php anyway. And I am loving it.

So I was thinking is Laravel the Django equivalent? Is the development time largely reduced ?What about Symfony?
