Anyone working on games?

Hi everyone!

I am just wondering whether anyone here is working on games? Can it work out financially? Or are we all working on the next big B2B SaaS?

I am currently taking a break for a few months, luckily my quite passive income from two of my SaaS is covering my time off. I spent two weeks doing nothing and then playing around with WebGL and browser based graphics.

And it is so much fun! I now spent a few days and modified an existing game to add weapons and some goodies, the result is here: https://beautiful-starburst-d981e5.netlify.app/

Now I am thinking whether my next project should not be a SaaS but maybe a game? Does that make sense? It definitely feels more like following a passion, on the other hand people are spending real money daily on all kinds of games.

Any indie game tinkerers here? Or someone with experience or insights into that topic, from a business perspective?
