Some jobs are not very glamorous.
Things like writing Terms Of Service, putting a Privacy Policy in place or creating a Company Information page.
It's not just that the content you're creating is mind-numbing, it's the fact that nobody will ever read it.
But the reality is that there is a lot of this stuff with a startup - it's not all 'first paying customer' and 'ramen profitabilty reached'.
Getting the grind-work done can be the difference between getting your first paying customer next month or in six months... or not at all.
So I tend to save these tasks for days when inspiration is lacking but I still want to achieve something. It's just a matter of going through the motions.
And I'm still surpised that the feeling of satisfaction is real when I tick one more box off the development roadmap
