I launched this product a little while ago, and I can’t believe I’m only now posting it here on Indie Hackers… better late than never. 😅
I’ve been building TWT Chat, an AI-powered customer support tool for indie makers, solo founders, small SaaS teams, bloggers, and anyone running their own website.
The idea came from something simple:
support shouldn’t drain your time or budget — especially when you’re building alone.
Over time it grew into a lightweight, affordable, and genuinely helpful tool. Here’s what it does today:
🚀 Key Features
If you’ve ever launched a product, you know how many “same questions” you get every day.
TWT Chat uses AI to automatically answer common questions or generate a suggested reply you can send with a click.
A lot of customer support tools increase the cost when traffic goes up.
We don’t. You can get 20 visitors or 20,000 — your conversation volume stays unlimited.
Visitors can talk to you in any language, and everything gets translated instantly on both sides.
This turned out to be a huge win for teams with global audiences.
You can add your FAQs or docs, and the AI will use them as reference when replying —
meaning fewer repeat questions and much faster support.
Adding the chat widget takes only a few minutes.
Most users get it running without any engineering help.
No enterprise bloat, no heavy UI, no complex setup.
Just a clean chat widget with AI assistance built in.
💡 Why I built it
I’m part of a small team, and we were struggling with support across our projects:
Intercom was great but too expensive
Tidio was okay but still heavy for small teams
Tawk.to was free but too basic and not AI-driven
We needed something in between:
fast, simple, AI-focused, and affordable.
So we just built it ourselves.
🧪 Current Status
Live and already being used by early adopters
AI performance has improved a lot with real user data
Still shipping improvements every week
Pricing designed to be friendly for Indie Hackers & tiny SaaS teams
🙋♂️ Want to try it?
There’s a free version, no credit card required, and you can install it in minutes.
If you test it, I’d genuinely appreciate feedback — especially from fellow builders.

Happy to share more about the stack, the journey, or the things we learned building this as a small team.
Thanks for reading — and glad to finally post this here. 🙌
