Built an AI tool for product listings โ€” no users yet, need honest feedback

Hey Indie Hackers ๐Ÿ‘‹ I kept hearing from people who sell online that writing product descriptions is one of the most tedious parts of running a store โ€” especially when you've got dozens of similar items and every description starts sounding the same after a while.

So I built StoryBrick. You give it a product name, a few key features, who the product is for, and pick a tone (professional, friendly, luxury, or casual), and it generates a title, a full description, 5 key selling points, and an SEO meta description โ€” all in about 10 seconds. No account needed, you get 10 free generations to try it out.

Built it with Lovable, Supabase, and OpenAI. It's live right now, but I haven't had any real users try it yet โ€” I've been figuring out distribution as I go (turns out that's harder than building the thing).

I'd genuinely love for a few of you to try it on a real product and tell me honestly if it's useful, confusing, or solving a problem nobody has. Brutal feedback welcome โ€” that's more valuable to me right now than a compliment.

Happy to answer anything about the stack, the pricing thinking, or what I'd do differently if I started over.

StoryBrick live with free generations and still no real users is the classic build-then-distribute stall. Soft free text-only week for that zero-user freeze. If you want, reply with one seller place youโ€™d put a real listing through if the next step was ten store owners, not another tone option.

Nice work shipping it. What has been the biggest challenge since launch?

Curious how long it took before you saw the first real results?

What would count as meaningful validation beyond someone liking the generated copyโ€”publishing it, replacing their existing workflow, or returning to create more listings?
