Day 78: uncertainty creates procrastination

One thing I’ve noticed while building Unjam:

People often don’t get stuck because they’re unwilling to work.

They get stuck because they aren’t sure what the next step is.

When the path feels unclear, the brain naturally hesitates.

Then hesitation gets mistaken for laziness.

Then frustration grows.

But often the real problem isn’t motivation.

It’s ambiguity.

The moment the next action becomes obvious, momentum usually appears surprisingly quickly.

That’s why I’m becoming increasingly interested in clarity as a product feature.

Not just organization.

Not just productivity.

Clarity.

Because clear next steps reduce friction.

And reduced friction creates movement.
