Hi all,
Recently, I venture into note-taking app industry.
Instead of positioning my app for serious note takers/ feature-complete notepad like Evernote, I tend to position my app for casual note takers/ on-the-go note taking/ minimalist like Google Keep.
The app works very similar to Google Keep, except it comes with an additional Calendar page, tab design (So that you can switch between different note category in blazing speed), additional features (Various sorting, viewing, coloring, theme-ing, ...)
Currently, I just launch v1.0 Android product to Google Play store. My long term goal, is to make iOS version and Desktop version available.
Since this is a long journey, I would like to have sufficient income from the Android app, to support this long journey.
Due to the intense competition in this space, I decide not to place any ads within the app.
My strategy to monetize is
Currently, there are 3 paid features
Our long term plan, is providing a subscription plan, to sync notes across Android, iOS and Desktop. But, that plan is still long way to go.
Do you have any suggestion, what else features we can charge for our customers? Of course, any idea on how to improve the app, are very much welcome too.
This is the landing page for the product: https://wenote.me
Thank you.

Hi @yccheok,
Congratulations on your initial launch. I think a search bar to find something within your notes is key. I jot down a lot of things on the native Notes app on my iPhone. Whenever I want to get back to that info, I have a hard time.

Hi!
I like note taking and it seems you have already covered quite a few handy features (images, drawing, reminders). One thing I'd definitely love to have in a mobile note-taking app is the ability to send stuff to it via other apps. Like, browsing some interesting article? I'd like to select a piece and send it (share?) to the app as a note.
When I write or plan, I prefer to do it in a big screen, so I'd have started as a desktop app first and do mobile later, but perhaps you'll be able to raise more funds this way. Good luck :)
Yes. In fact, we already have such feature. Just click on share button in your web browser, you can see WeNote listed as one of the shared choices.
We will choose to go for mobile first. These day, consumers more willing to pay for mobile apps, instead of desktop apps.
