I find myself googling to solve a problem, finding a piece of code and months later when I need to do it again when I have long forgotten it, I repeat the same thing.
Is this common?
I once stumbled upon my own question, answered by no one else but myself. It happens. We are humans. It doesn't mean you are a bad developer or anything negative. In my opinion it means that you're a good (re)searcher.
Someone on HN told me the same thing. Wow
I also find myself increasingly looking up questions which I apparently already have upvoted. I suppose programming is so broad, it is just hard to remember everything.
Stack overflow is a good extension of our (limited) human data storage capacity
