I'm currently building a 2FA API that uses non-traditional methods for 2FA (i.e. no email or SMS).
I love 2FA for any product I use. For what I am building that is a luxury for the time being.
That is precisely why I am building this 2FA API because SMS and mail are not secure. SMS also costs to send.
So I plan on using more standard and already existing communications methods that have full encryption, and to be super simple to use for both the user and the developer.
I just finished coding my beta for the API, I plan on the next weeks to have the documentation ready and start inviting beta users, pending the holidays break.
