email response rate = idea validation ?
Hello Hacker.
I've been working on the idea for a couple of months.
My main source for new customers is cold emailing.
I think my emails got progressively better but response rate is pretty low.
Should I consider that the problem is not very acute?
Would love to hear your experience with selling and validation with cold emailing.

I think people are just busy, and you should expect a low response rate to warm email, and definitely in cold email. At least until you've got it down to a repeatable sales process way down the track, past the early validation stage. This might just be pedantic on the terms used, but try thinking of it less as "idea validation", and more that "this is a real problem that people want SOME solution to, validation". Keep going! 💪
