The website looks nice. The idea has potential. The name is a bit hard on the tongue and there are so many anything-ly names already...

I think this kind of tools really work when they provide reporting and data analytics as well... Otherwise the features are so basic that software developers will just copy your ideas for their own projects while non-developers will want more.

I understand that you have to validate the idea as soon as possible but if it's too simple it's too different from the product that people need. People who can build don't need simple solutions - they'll just copy your nice features.

People who can't build need more than a few features, they need everything to solve their problem (reporting, analytics, download the data, etc.).

Imagine if someone was selling you a steering wheel when you need a car. No one can argue that steering wheels are not useful and there's no market for them.

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback. I really appreciated your time in writing this.

There is a lot of features that I think are necessary (like analytics), but I was tired (and a little worried) to develop too much hidden from real users. I decided to wrap the minimum product that I thought would be helpful and nothing more.

About the positioning, I applied a little about my own personal view on this project, and I don't like the approach of almost all Saas companies around complete solutions, because the experience is horrible. My idea is to create a "perfect" wheel and that is it. I want a reliable, cheap, and very flexible tool to create multipage forms and stories.

Using your analogy of the wheel, if a user wants a car, any wheel is ok, but if they want THE car, they will want to control all aspects of the car. Have you noticed how hard it is to move any needle on the web market-wise nowadays? It's daunting. The complex solutions will have to come to compete, and you need super-specialized tools to handle this.

About the professional developers, I think they will appreciate the fact that they can use JSON instead of another (horrible) visual editor, and be flexible using the tools that they want to build (you can use Visual Code to build the forms, with git!) and collect information (they can use internal endpoints to communicate with the form)

You are right for non-coders, at the present state, it is a hard sell, mostly because the JSON editor will scare them away. So the visual editor is on the roadmap.

Again, thank you for your feedback.

    1. The name is rather odd and hard to pronounce. If I were you and if possible I would chose something "easy to pronounce over the phone" without having to spell it out. It doesnt matter if your startup name is a combination of 2 full words like backendforms.com / multipageforms.com etc, it would be more memorable.
    2. Your banner text should be more descriptive and inform visitors on the problem your startup solves.

I tried to show what the product is instead of the problem. I will think about it. Thanks a lot. pystar!
