I just hit a huge revenue milestone for my productized service, so I'm delaying all new clients until March. Here's why:
πΆββοΈ After crossing each new threshold, I like to take a step back before moving forward.
Is it time to hire someone? Have I outgrown any of my processes? Are these the clients I really want or do I need to pivot?
π Growth at all costs is not my goal.
Steady, manageable growth over time is my goal. I don't want to fight cashflow issues, stress out my team, or fail to deliver for a client. I want to grow at a steady, sustainable pace.
π¨βπ©βπ¦ I want my business to accommodate my lifestyle.
While I like my company and want it to succeed, I won't do it at the cost of personal relationships or my family's happiness. I'm optimizing my life for energy, not money.
What do you think? Have you ever intentionally slowed growth? Do you regret it?
I'd love to hear your story!
