Hi everyone -- my name is Yvan. I'm a data scientist and sometimes tinkerer. I made a little app called called http://hexlist.com that lets you make lists of links. I was hoping the community could give me some feedback on product as it stands.
Backstory:
I wanted to make a place to keep lists of links without unnecessary features or too much flair. The idea was to try to keep the site as simple as possible (both to look at and to use).
For a while I kept it to myself and just used it for my own links but I decided "hey, why not let other people use it?" My next thought was "well if people are going to use it the site should probably be better." I'm looking for feedback to improve the experience on the site.
Your honest, unfiltered feedback and especially your negative feedback is greatly appreciated. 🙏
Few thoughts:
getting the initial creation process to be as smooth as possible is very important to me. i want it to be as clear as possible.
out of curiosity would you mind telling me if you are on mobile or a laptop? (that would be helpful to me)
thank you so much for your feedback ;)
I'm on a desktop computer right now. It's very old running an outdated browser (my work is cheap)
cool thank you.
I'm currently using google's keep for this purpose. how is hexlist different?
hi PeepHerd as far as i understand it google keep is a todo list manager.
i was thinking hexlist would be more useful for permanent lists of resources. that said the only thing hexlist really has going for it is its lack of features, which is also its biggest problem in a sense.
how do you use google keep? do you keep more permanent lists on there?
