How do you share SQL query results with non-developers?
I'm working on a side project web app that can schedule SQL queries and write the results to shared Google sheets. I find this approach to be cheaper and lighter weight compared to SaaS tools like Tableau.
What tools and workflows do you use to share SQL query results? Thanks for your time and thoughts!
I've used that aproach for reports and such. It works great. Users already know Google sheets, they can sort and filter, and you can have some nice graphs.
You can also use the data on Google sheets to create nice executive reports with Data Studio:
