How do you track social media posts that you should engage with?

Hello Founders,

Hope everyone is having a good Friday. Let's jump into the issue - I hope I am not the only one struggling with this:

  1. I want to engage wherever I can on social media
  2. Take part in weekly/month posts sharing products/progress reviews on multiple channels
  3. Participate in threads which are happening ad-hoc and getting a lot of traction

Points 1 and 2 only if the topic is related to my product domain.

Are you using calendars, so social media notification or just time box and doing what you can within that time?

Context: I am a solo founder and I need to juggle marketing, reach outs and development.

I've slowed down on this because it didn't have great ROI, but I used to:

    • Monitor topics and keywords with advanced search on Tweetdeck
    • Monitor conversations on Reddit and HN with f5bot
    • Look for quora questions to answer every month

Now my strategy is simpler as my business is less reliant on social media:

    • Post 1 tweet per day manually and engage with a few people while I'm online
    • Get on Reddit once per week to check the few communities I subscribe to

OK I could look at your new strategy. I am getting back to long form writing from today. Both on personal level and also starting the blog for my product.

I am active on Twitter but more engaging on others Tweets. My product Twitter has not started yet. I think I need more clarity about issues I can Tweet from the product.
