When GPT-3 launched in 2020, it was only a matter of time until we'd start seeing AI content writing tools proliferate. If you're not familiar with GPT-3, it stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 and it's an autoregressive language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text.
The first wave of these tools were lacklustre and I wrote a post about them here. I concluded that at best these tools would be supplementary to our content writing efforts.
Fast forward to 2022 and the industry has advanced by some magnitude. With the right inputs, tools like Jasper (formerly Jarvis), Copysmith and Rytr can produce content akin to that of a human.
