Hi IH,
I currently have my site's blog/resource on Wordpress and it's hosted on a subdomain.
Is it possible to move a Wordpress blog/resource to a sub-directory when the main site is not Wordpress?
If someone knows the answer to this or has had a similar experience I'd appreciate some advice :)
Thanks.
It is possible, but it depends heavily on your setup. You can see general info how to do this here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/giving-wordpress-its-own-directory/
How are you hosting your main site? Maybe I'll be able to help you more:)
@gregory90 thanks for commenting. The main site is hosted on Digital Ocean, I found this article which I think makes it a bit clearer: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-install-wordpress-in-a-subdirectory-step-by-step/
I guess I need to create a sub-directory /Blog and then migrate all the Wordpress files to within that folder.
That would be first step. Do you use nginx/apache or other webserver?
