How to split time between content for other founders and content for your audience

How do you actually manage time to write articles/stories for other founders about your product and to write content for your audience?

If these two audiences don't overlap, is it worth trying to spend time on both of them, or is it better to focus on your audience in the first stage?

My product is about learning programming through personalizing the process and maintaining the mental state of a user.

Intuitively, it looks like it's best to focus on your target audience first.

How much time do you spend on content and how many sites do you support at the same time?

For a tech founder, such things are something new, you need to learn how to do it and become a kind of content-creator.

If other founders aren't your audience, why is writing for them a priority at all?

Yep, that's the right question actually 😁

Now my question looks counter-intuitive, but I'd like to hear some opinions on the benefits making content for founders too.

In my experience, it can be valuable to document the things you learn – and the questions you have – as a way of finding people who you connect with and share a sense of belonging.

But I don't think about this in the same sense of "creating content" where there's an expected outcome of making the content, or an obligation to do it/continue doing it.

Big picture though, you can justify it however you want, but if you're doing anything that distracts you from focusing on your audience you're probably sabotaging yourself πŸ˜‰
