I built a free 15-question placement because AI course dumps assume you already know where you are — feedback on the L-levels / PATH?
Most “learn AI” lists hand you twenty free courses and zero map.
You open Academy / Grow with Google / Skilljar doors, then stall on: which one first? Meanwhile the ground moves — paid model gates (Astra-class / Flash-class / Fable-class) get treated like free lessons when they are not.
I built Gradūs (Gradus) for that gap.

Took the placement - L-levels felt roughly right, but the spot I second-guessed myself was a self-report question ("how comfortable are you with X"). Thats usually where placement accuracy leaks: "somewhat comfortable" means different things to different people, and a fixed multiple-choice cant tell modest-but-skilled apart from genuinely-unsure.
We ran into the same shape of problem building forms - the fix was a one-off follow-up only when an answer is ambiguous, not more questions across the board. Might be worth trying on the self-report items. Disclosure: thats the idea behind chatform.in if you want to see the pattern.
PATH sequence read honest to me otherwise.
That’s a clean hit on the weak spot.
Self-report comfort is where the band can drift — “somewhat comfortable” means different things, and a fixed choice can’t separate modest-but-skilled from genuinely unsure. A one-off follow-up only when that answer is fuzzy is exactly the kind of fix I’m weighing (not more questions for everyone).

This is great work — reminds me of some of the calls I've had to make building Xstream4K. What would you do differently if you started over?

If I started over: I’d ship the free placement + first PATH door even earlier, and keep Desk optional longer. The mistake I almost made was polishing “the product” before proving the L-level felt fair and door one was doable in one sitting.
