I recently started getting traffic on my privacy policy pages

They are visiting via VPN I know that. But why are they reading line by line - the whole privacy document, and about us pages. This doesn't sound usual, who are these people?

Or have I written some spectacular privacy pages, I don't know 🤔

Btw here's the site: veonr.com

If someone knows what is this, please comment!

    Nice looking site 😎

I wouldn't be too concerned about this.

/privacy, /terms and /security where also the pages that, in the beginning, had the most traffic for me. Why? Because there is lots of text on those pages which matches common search terms.

After a while however this traffic went down and I now get (as expected) most traffic on my landing pages.

Thanks for replying, I understand that it will get crawled and stuff because it has content, but here it's a different thing.

I can see on the heatmaps that the user is reading stuff line by line, and it's not happening once or twice, it's every other day some user comes through like that.

Also my site has been up for almost a year now, and it was crawled by search engines early on already, and I too am getting most of the traffic on the landing page, but these users instantly scroll down to the footer to read privacy.

That's what's concerning me, because if these are legit people then am I missing something in terms of EU's guidelines, or cookies or something...

Not the biggest deal, but still is a concern.

If this is not about bots, but humans, this might indeed be someone who is reviewing privacy policies and the 'legality' aspect of your site, well...maybe it's time to ensure your legal stuff is actually compliant?

Still, this is very odd behavior.
