I Started a SaaS Product with No Coding Skills

Hi there, I want to take you on a journey - a journey that began with a passion for languages and an audacious dream to build something that could connect people worldwide, despite my complete lack of coding skills. This is the story of how I launched ConveyThis.com

I had an idea to create a translation solution that could empower websites to break through linguistic boundaries effortlessly.

The idea seemed like a moonshot, especially for someone like me, with no coding experience whatsoever. But I wasn't ready to let that hold me back. I knew that if I didn't take a leap of faith and try, I'd always wonder "what if?"

So, fueled by my passion and curiosity, I dove into the world of online resources. I spent countless late nights devouring coding tutorials, navigating forums, and Googling like my life depended on it. It was both exhilarating and overwhelming, but I was determined to learn and build this product.

As we built ConveyThis, I discovered the power of collaboration and the strength of our collective knowledge. I may not have been a coding wizard, but I quickly learned that the key to success was surrounding myself with the right people and embracing their expertise. So I got a team to work on this project.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of learning and iterating, the moment of truth arrived. We launched ConveyThis on Product Hunt. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/conveythis-2

The support we received was beyond anything I could have imagined. Early adopters flocked to try out our product, and their feedback was invaluable in shaping its future.

To anyone out there with a dream but no coding skills, I want to say this: Don't let your lack of technical expertise hold you back. Embrace your vision, seek support from others, and dive headfirst into the unknown. You'll be amazed at the magic you can create.

So, here's to dreaming big, to taking risks, and to transforming the world - one line of code (or maybe a few) at a time!

Really inspiring journey — building a SaaS like ConveyThis without coding and still launching is no small feat. The way you leaned on learning + collaboration is exactly what makes ideas like this work.

There’s actually a competition where founders submit ideas/projects like this — entry is $19 and winner gets a Tokyo trip.

Love this — especially how you turned a language-focused idea into a real SaaS product despite starting from zero coding knowledge. That mindset is what gets products off the ground.

You might find this interesting — there’s a live competition for builders working on ideas like this, $19 entry and a Tokyo trip for the winner.
