I Was Drowning in "Small" Tasks Until I Realized the Real Problem

Three months ago, I hit a wall.

I was juggling a full-time job, a side project, and somehow still forgetting my mom's birthday. My inbox had 847 unread emails. My calendar looked like a game of Tetris someone was losing. And yet, I was "productive" — at least that's what my LinkedIn said.

The breaking point? I missed a client call because it was buried in an email thread I "flagged for later." That cost me real money.

Here's what I realized: The problem isn't that I don't have enough tools. I have Trello, Notion, Todoist, and three different calendar apps. The problem is that remembering to use them has become another job.

Every morning I wake up with a mental load I can't outsource:

  • Did I reply to that investor?
  • When was Sarah's baby shower?
  • What's that thing I promised to do Tuesday?

I tried hiring a VA. Great for scheduled tasks, useless for the 47 micro-decisions I make daily.

So I built what I actually needed: an AI that lives in WhatsApp (where I already am), that I can just... talk to. Like texting a really competent assistant who never sleeps.

"Add this to my todos."
"Remind me about this in 2 hours."
"What's on my plate today?"
"Handle my email triage."

No new app. No login. No interface to learn.

The irony? I built this to solve my own chaos, but the real unlock was realizing most "productivity" tools add cognitive overhead. They make you work to stay organized.

I wanted something that just... handles it.

What's your relationship with your current productivity stack? Are you actually using it, or is it using you?
