I'm a solo founder shipping faster than ever with AI. Turns out the bottleneck was never the tools.

I almost lost my career to burnout. Then I found the one biological lever nobody in this community talks about.

Back in 2020 I was 90kg, broke, and deep in the worst burnout of my life. I wasn't building anything back then. I was barely functioning as a Product Manager.

It took years to rebuild. And when I finally did, I built FitDots, a fitness system for busy professionals who don't have time for a gym. We launched it on Product Hunt this year.

Here's the thing that surprised me most while building it: the thing that almost broke me wasn't the workload. It was that I had zero energy left to make good decisions by hour 8.

Every founder here knows this pattern. You ship features, you tweak pricing, you optimize your funnel. Nobody optimizes the thing running all of it: your brain's actual energy supply.

Turns out there's real biology behind this. ATP is the energy currency your brain burns for focus, decisions, and working memory. It's the exact same currency your muscles use to move. When you're sleep deprived (the founder default setting), your brain's demand for that energy outpaces what it can regenerate on its own.

Creatine helps close that gap. Is not a stimulant, and is not hype. It's one of the most studied supplements that exists (500+ studies, safe up to 30g/day for 5 years per the ISSN 2017 position stand), just historically associated with gym bros instead of people running companies on 5 hours of sleep.

I wrote a full breakdown on the science, dosing, and who actually benefits most (spoiler: sleep deprived high performers and anyone under constant cognitive load are the biggest responders).

Anyone else inside the Indie Hackers community already uses it? And, what's your current strategy for staying sharp on day 47 of building something 24/7?
