Hey fellow indiehackers!
I've got some exciting news to share with you all. As a developer, I'm always on the lookout for the best open-source frameworks and libraries to help me with my projects. But I've often found it hard to evaluate them objectively and find unbiased reviews online. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build my own website to help solve this problem.
Introducing ColabDog.com, a website where you can find reviews and ratings of over 70 popular open-source repositories. I've personally reviewed each of these frameworks, outlining their pros and cons in a few sentences and scoring them out of 5 based on my experience using them. And where possible, I've also provided alternatives to these open-source alternatives.
The reason I built this website is simple - I wanted to help others avoid the bad rabbit holes that I've encountered and find good alternatives that could save them time and money. I couldn't find any information readily online, so I took matters into my own hands and created this resource.
But that's not all - I've also made it possible for other users to add their reviews of popular open-source repositories as well. This way, the website can be a community-driven resource where developers can come together and share their experiences with different frameworks and libraries.
I've even created a video demo that shows you how to use the website, which you can check out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYtVGsXKzxk
So, what are you waiting for? Check out ColabDog.com and let me know what you think. I'm excited to hear your feedback and hope that this website can become a valuable resource for the entire developer community.
