Hey IH,
I've been building in public for a bit over a month now on Twitter (@hrrsnbbnt).
I thought you might be interested in my stats, and I've got a couple of tips to share that I think you might find useful.
Right up front, here are my August stats -

Overall I'm pretty pleased!
Over the last 6 weeks or so, I've gone from pretty much nothing (didn't really use Twitter) to nearly 100 followers which is pretty cool.
3 things that have helped me grow -
📅 tweeting consistently
This is kind of a no-brainer, but tweeting more and tweeting consistently is generally correlated with growth, by virtue of having more stuff for people to see. I try to tweet something every day or two, and to keep it on-brand (so for me, that's tweeting about my saas side project and my experience building it).
🎭 sharing behind-the-scenes content
I've found that some of my best performing tweets have been about behind-the-scenes sort of things — in my case, different stats and metrics for my side project. I think in general, people find it interesting to see 'behind the curtain' and get a look at things that don't normally get shared. Might not work for everyone, but it's worth trying out.
Also, don't forget that the first few followers are the hardest. Even though I'm still pretty fresh to Twitter, I found that once I got to about 50 followers and they started engaging with my tweets a bit, things started to pick up.

Cheers,
Just want to say it's great to see these kinds of stories of <100 followers. Since growth is probably an exponential curve, the very early stages are really hard.
