Launched my new course

While I was working on my tools for email newsletters - I read so many things about it! It's like a separate universe with different rules and needs. as I was procrastinating recently, I decided to prepare some slides and record a simple course for people that want to start their newsletters. I have so much fun.

For my fellow indie hackers and new founders, I'm sharing 100 coupons for free.

    💪 Congrats on the launch!
What drove your decision to publish the course on udemy? Have you also thought about launching it on skillshare? Would be great to hear your thoughts on that because I am also currently planning my first course 😊

Go go go! wanna motivate you to publish a course. While it's not my main source of revenue - making courses is very rewarding in other ways.

about skillshare - I hate them :) they promise a lot, but when it comes to promotion - their performance is not ideal. Their system reminds me of youtube - you need constantly publish new courses and drive yourself crazy - otherwise, you wouldn't be able to compete.

:-) thanks for the motivational push 💪
ok, yes, sounds reasonable. and maybe publishing the course on both platforms isn't ideal either because it's lowering the valuable if people think they get the course "for free" on skillshare.

I think there are different audiences on platforms, so if you want to put it into a few places - it might work. for me, at this point, Udemy provides the best and easiest flow to launch a course. plus, I'm limited with payment options - my country has an outdated system.
if courses will bring more revenue into my pockets, I'll probably try to spread into a few more platforms, but later will move out.

Maybe Thinkific is a great thing to try too.
