Launched something useful and heard… nothing?

If you recently launched a product and it’s still struggling to get noticed, I’m looking for new products for IndieNeed: https://indieneed.com/submit

I’m especially interested in products that are:

  • useful but still unknown

  • built by solo founders or small teams

  • looking for first users

  • looking for honest feedback

  • solving one clear problem

No need for a huge launch, revenue screenshot, or big audience.

Just reply with:

Product:
Who it’s for:
What problem it solves:
What you need most right now: users / feedback / testers

I’ll check the replies and new IndieNeed submissions.

Sometimes a good product doesn’t need another feature.

It just needs the right people to discover it.

What are you building that deserves more attention?

Silence after launch is ambiguous. It can mean the product is not useful, but it can also mean the right people never recognized their problem in the message. I would run a smaller test before changing the product: speak to ten people who clearly have the workflow, show the current promise before the demo, and record where recognition stops. Do they reject the problem, the proposed outcome, the proof, or the next step? That produces a better decision than another round of impressions.

Product: MatchDock — https://getmatchdock.com Who it’s for: people who regularly compare or reconcile Excel and CSV files and are tired of doing it manually with formulas, lookups, or side-by-side checks. What problem it solves: MatchDock lets you upload two files, choose the column or columns that identify matching records, and see what matches, what differs, and what exists only on one side. What I need most right now: real users and honest feedback from people who already do this kind of reconciliation manually. I’d especially like to know where the workflow still feels slower or more confusing than it should. I’m the solo developer behind it.

I submitted AI Undetectable to IndieNeed today; it's currently in review. This is an existing product I'm rebuilding, rather than a first launch. Product: https://aiundetectable.com/ai-humanizer For: writers working on AI-generated articles and essays. Problem: rewriting full drafts to sound natural and help them pass AI detectors, with the original and rewrite side by side. Detector results aren't guaranteed. Need: users with real writing projects. I'm the founder. Full rewrite examples are public without signup; live tools have a three-day trial, then a paid plan. AI helped draft this reply.

This one hits close to home. I launched a developer tool recently and the biggest lesson so far is that “shipped” and “discovered” are completely different problems.

I initially interpreted silence as a product signal, but after looking at the actual reach, almost nobody had seen the post. So now I’m trying to separate distribution failure from product failure before changing the product itself.

That distinction matters. Do you know whether any of the people who saw the launch were actually the people you built it for? A small reach number tells you very little if the audience mix is unknown.

I run HungryDevs, I have not submitted yet. Three questions before I do: How do you pick useful but unknown, manual review or auto-accept? After listing, how does a new product get seen first days, recent on top or votes? Do makers get feedback on page, or only visits?
