Launching BugHarbor: The feedback tool I needed to finally stop building and start shipping

I've built multiple apps that never launched. Not because they were bad ideas - because I was paralyzed by one question: "What will users actually think about this?"

I found myself juggling screenshot tools, bug trackers, feedback forms, and analytics. Yet I still didn't have the clarity to confidently move from "building" to "shipping." The friction of managing multiple tools became another excuse not to launch.

So I built BugHarbor - the simple feedback hub I needed to stop overthinking.

What it does: One centralized place to collect screenshots (with annotations), screen recordings, and audio feedback. Plus AI-powered code prompts that work with Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, and other dev tools.

Where we are: Built with Laravel, multi-tenancy ready, Paddle payments integrated. Four pricing tiers from $9/mo. Core features work, now focused on real-world testing before broader launch.

The offer: First 500 users get immediate early access to help us test and shape the product. Your feedback will directly influence what we build next. Sign up at https://bugharbor.space/early-access

What I'm struggling with:

  • Finding the right balance between simplicity and power features

  • Deciding which AI integrations to prioritize

  • Understanding if $9/mo is the right entry point for indie devs

For fellow indie hackers who've launched feedback/dev tools:

  • What features did you think would matter but didn't?

  • What pricing mistakes did you make early on?

  • How did you get your first paying users beyond friends/family?

I'm here to share what's working (and what's not) as we build. Happy to answer questions about our tech stack, pricing strategy, or the journey from Suriname to global markets.

Hey Fabian, congrats on the launch! Saw you're using Paddle for payments — quick question: when a subscriber cancels, do you have any way to intercept it before it goes through? Like a pause offer or discount popup? Curious how you're handling churn.

Congratulations on your launch. It looks impressive! What channels are you exploring to attract early users?
