I want to clarify this post a bit before I get a bunch of arguments...
What I mean by this is, rather than build a product that helps 1 out of 100,000 people, build something that helps 1 out of 100 people. It will make it drastically easier to get and find customers.
So for example: Instead of building a tool for developers to make lists, make a tool for anyone to make lists. Your niche is "Lists" but your target market is very large.
