New Updates: Done.

Hey everyone,

Like I said at my last post. I want to stay accountable for myself and my co-founders. Because I realized, I’m going off the rails.

So, I wanted to share our latest updates here.

For those who don’t know. We are building a platform called Jooseph.

It’s an online learning community where you can follow and share curated learning paths from the entire web.

New design

New design
I’m not talking about UI changes. We realized Joseph should feel like a learning platform rather than a news aggregator.

We created more learning like experience than just surfing through

Structured Learning Paths

Sections
We created sections. Basically you can create structured subtopics in your collections.

In other words, a syllabus.

Weekly goals

Weekly goals
You need motivation to keep learning. So for staying motivated, we created weekly goals.

Because when you have a tangible goal, somehow you become more productive.

Subscribe to your favorite curators

We realized there great curators in our platform. They can grow their audience with “Subscribe” right now.

Or you can follow your favorite curator to stay updated.

Next Up

  • We want to hit more than 100 signups this week.
  • 18-19% 1st week retention (we couldn't break that barrier yet.

Looks slick! I believe I can tell what everything is from a quick glance, which is always great for UX. Couple questions:

    • Are you using a theme (e.g. bootstrap theme) or is that custom?
    • Where are you hosting your inlined images (i.e. for posting on indie hackers)?

Thanks for your comments mate :)

      We're using theme.

We have a blog. We share most of things over there too. So, links are from our blog. We didn't build blog from scratch.

Using Wix but moving to Webflow. Why? Because it's faster and more customizable :)

      Cheers :)
