No code mailing list service for rapid idea validation

Hi all,
I'm making a website that should be useful for Indies that are trying to validate a product idea. Right now, you can post on various channels (IH, Reddit, etc) and get in contact with people that are interested or you can build a landing page with a mailing list sign up form attached to a MailChimp account or similar service.

I'm building a website that lets you create one-time mailing lists with title and description with a click of a button.
It generates a unique url that you can then share wherever and people interested in your product can click on the link and insert their email address. When you're then ready to launch or have an update you write a short body text and send it to all the subscribers and that's it!

It would work on a freemium model where you need to pay if you exceed certain quotas but would otherwise be free to use for the majority of creators.

What do you think? Do I need to generate a link to get interested subscribers? ;)

This sounds very similar to KickOffLabs. Check them out! I think what you would be doing is useful, but would probably have to differentiation yourself from other services such as Kickoff Labs and Mailchimp

Thanks, didn't know about them. Well the way I see it is that KickOffLabs seems to focus on viral referral campaigns (which is a bit yikes to me honestly, doesn't seem like a smart idea for a startup to use that, but I could be wrong..) but in the end it just supplies you with landing page templates that you have to customize and create marketing material for, and hook up the email signup form to a service, etc etc etc. That's a lot of work for just trying to test the waters if a product idea has demand! The product I'm envisioning gets you a shareable signup link in a mater of a few minutes, no wasting time thinking about graphics, extensive copy-writing, assets, etc. It's basically a stepping stone before making a full-blown landing page, which I think is needed. If you get a lot of signups you can take that as a sign that there is market demand for your product and THEN you can make a landing page and when you're done you can send the link to the landing page to your subscribers!

EDIT: Mailchimp same thing, it's a great service but what I'm thinking of comes before that, you should only start making landing pages and automated mailing accounts when you've somewhat validated your idea and that's where my product comes in.

Hi @BarryBlock, I have previously shared my website for a gaming community. We have not launched it yet but your product sounds like something we could definitely use to help with that. Please share, would love to check it out! Would also like to know more about the quotas :)
