Recession? Yes!

A recession is an opportunity to strengthen your character, to shape you into a bulletproof entrepreneur who can handle anything, who looks fear in the eye and patiently says, 'I will win.' This is your opportunity to become someone greater than you currently are.

It's simultaneously worrying and empowering to be an indie hacker in tough economic times.

It's worrying, because the responsibility falls on your shoulders. It's on you to figure things out. Nobody is going to do it for you. I know @rosiesherry, @peldi, @tylertringas, and others have had to make difficult decisions canceling events in recent weeks.

But with great responsibility comes great power. You don't have to sit around worried about whether or not you'll lose your job because of someone else's decisions. Instead, you're in control, you're your own boss, and you have the ability to look at what's happening in the world and adjust your business accordingly.
