Remote database backup with no coding at all

Tired of messing with CLI scripts on our database server in order to setup remote database backup. We spent two weeks in building a remote database backup service to ease our own pain. It is a typical case of scratching your own itch.

Our product is called Backup Owl(https://backupowl.staticmaker.com/). You can do remote database backup with no coding at all. As a developer, it solves a lot of pain for me since I no longer need to SSH to each database servers and setup countless CLI scripts.

What do you guys think? Is this something you would be interested? Does it solve enough pain for you to pay for it?

I use googles Cloud SQL. It is fully managed. Not only does it do auto backups but it auto scales once it starts to get full, amongst other DevOps stuff.

I love this idea. My only concern is where backups live. Can I control where you send the backups?

Here's a use-case for you to think about. I've been working with AWS for a few years and I actually never needed to use messy CLI scripts to configure a backup. That's in fact quite simple and goes out-of-the-box with RDS.
