I like the design! But I was confused straight away... In the first dropdown I can only read "What type of beer place are y..." and the first option is Banking/Payment processing???

After clicking around a bit I get your idea, but maybe it is better to somehow separate the features for people looking for beer and the people selling the beer :)

When you click a brewery on the map there is an image, but most often it is just the upscaled logo, which they looks bad. If you don't have a high resolution photo, you may be better using some generic placeholder image and put the logo separately at a different place. Take a look at Unsplash for some inspiration...

Please take a look at your website on a mobile device. It is visibly slow. More than 60% of all traffic nowadays is mobile, and unless you have reason to believe that your customers are going to be primarily desktop oriented, you can assume that most of your traffic will also be from a mobile device.

All my feedback is based on viewing experience on a mobile device.

    A) The geo-search on the home page did not work. I tried multiple times with different states in the US.

    B) On the search results page the card UI is broken.

    C) the black semi-transparent gradient on top of images is too strong and distracting

    D) the overall orange/black colour combo is too stark.

Who is supposed to be the audience of this website? Is it primarily a b2b directory, or a b2c directory (for people to find a new bar in town). The visual design will need to take this into account and the UX will have to prioritize elements based on this info.

Also, I noticed that you're using an embedded Google Maps. Is that the paid version or the free one? I recently got hit with a Google maps bill after they changes their free tier, so just curious .

    Hi Ryan,

I have compiled a quick annotated document that provides high-level visual feedback on your landing-page.

    Hi Ryan,

Nice website, I think you should hide as many empty pages as possible until they have some content. The contrast between the black and the orange is quite strong I think; lighter shades could help users feel more relax. The logo is a little blurry. Gray on orange does not stand out as much as white...
