Stand-Up #66 - April 13th, 2020

I got the routes separated into their own folder with a handy middleware package. It was easier than expected and surprisingly does not interfere with the Nextjs handler, which is a router as well. I was afraid yesterday that the two would cause problems together, but that doesn't seem to be the case after testing today. Now my server file is much easier to manage.

Yesterday's progress:

• Learn PostgreSQL!

Today's progress:

• Separate routes from server file and switch to the @koa/router npm package instead of using pure middlewares for my routes

Tomorrow's progress:

• Add a publish/unpublished toggle to the countdown creator so that users can save and publish at the same time if they so choose.

EDIT: On an unrelated note, I'm trying a phone-less day tomorrow. I'm putting it in a drawer when I wake up and I won't touch it until after dinner. Hopefully that helps me get more done!
