Stand-Up #69 - April 16th, 2020

I changed my plan from yesterday. The postgres conversion is gonna be a pain no matter what, so I started it today and I'll slowly work through it, instead of waiting til Saturday to start. Right now I have it running in parallel with MongoDB haha, so they're both running in my app.

I got the database provisioned for free on Heroku and was able to do a test connection and some test queries. I'll convert the API routes tomorrow. Connection string is obviously removed from the daily screenshot... I know one of you would've hijacked my DB and made tables with horrid names if I had left it in there lol.

Today's progress:

Started hooking up Postgres by provisioning free tier on Heroku and making some test connections and queries in the app

Tomorrow's progress:

Either continue Postgres conversion or do the Review banner, depending on how much time I have since a friend is coming to visit tomorrow
