Tapdiv: Prototype Web Apps Quickly
Hi all! I hereby announce the soft launch of Tapdiv to the Indiehackers community!
What is Tapdiv: it's a platform for creating and hosting web apps that is geared towards non-technical people.
The basic idea behind Tapdiv: many apps are very simply a veneer of UI over some table of data that you can create, read, update, or delete from. You can create functional apps by just putting together some UI components, and perhaps setting some permissions. More often than not, you can get by without any custom code/business logic.
Tapdiv differentiates itself by making the process as simple as tapping the things you want, where you want them (within layout templates). We think even drag-and-drop is cognitively exhausting. The editor is real-time collaborative, and so are the resulting apps. You can share the link to your app, or embed it on your website.
We hope to make Tapdiv as easy to use as Google Docs.
Our MVP is close to ready, and will be available in several weeks. If you're interested, do add your email to the waitlist! We don't spam, and your email is safe with Mailchimp.
Questions and comments are welcome!
Very interesting idea. “No code” seems to be the latest hotness so hopefully you can ride that wave.
Thanks Colin!
