TIFU - by going back to /r for a minute

TL;DR; Should have continued to stay away from Reddit

I used to waste too much time on Reddit. Then I got fed up with all the trolls - especially in the subs. I left it for years and became super productive... My full-time gigs and side hustles have benefited greatly.

After reviewing some IndieHacker threads that suggest building in public, I checked some old social media sites including /r (twitter was going to be next).

All the posts are just so fr..king interesting. I lost a ton of time already. ugh! Must resist!

I'd much rather support the IH/IW crowd. Seems like we have a good thing going here. (I hope it stays this way)

ELI5: Reddit is a website with lots of good points and nice every-day people, but also has a large enough number of mean people that make it painful... and yet it is very, very addicting.
