QuickTable had a good launch. We got 7 registered users the first day we launched. But some users told me it takes him a very long time to load our home page.
I did a website performance test and the result is not very good. We are lucky that we have integrated an observability platform and it collected performance data. We decide to analyze the data using QuickTable(engineers do not need to write one-off code to do such things). After half an hour, we found that there are some very long responses from our website. What's interesting is those long responses are taking exactly 10s or 20s. Other normal requests are less than 3s. It obviously related to some configuration that may relate 10s.
After some research, our team found that there is a misconfiguration in aws's alb. Alb route request to an IP address that is not accessible randomly and will timeout in 10 seconds.
Problem found and resolved, we finally use QuickTable to find out the issue of QuickTable. :-)
